About Tiga Yachts

Discover the excellence of Taiwanese yacht building tradition

The Tiga Legacy

Tiga yachts represent the pinnacle of Taiwanese boat-building craftsmanship. Built by Ta Shing Yacht Building Co., one of Asia's most respected yacht manufacturers, Tiga yachts have earned a reputation for exceptional quality, seaworthiness, and attention to detail.

Since the 1970s, Ta Shing has been producing high-quality cruising yachts that combine traditional construction methods with modern design. The Tiga line was specifically developed for serious cruisers and charter operations, offering the perfect balance of comfort, performance, and durability.

What sets Tiga yachts apart is their solid construction using hand-laid fiberglass, quality teak joinery, and robust engineering. These vessels are built to handle both coastal cruising and offshore passages, making them ideal for exploring the diverse conditions of the Mediterranean.

Design & Construction

Hull & Deck

Tiga yachts feature solid fiberglass hulls with quality gelcoat finishes that maintain their appearance year after year. The full-keel design provides excellent tracking and stability, while offering protection for the propeller and rudder. This design also creates a comfortable motion at sea, reducing fatigue during longer passages.

The deck layout is designed with safety and functionality in mind. Wide side decks with substantial toe rails provide secure footing, while all lines can be led aft to the cockpit for easy handling. The spacious cockpit offers comfortable seating for the entire crew with excellent visibility.

Interior Layout

The interior of a Tiga yacht showcases beautiful teak joinery with a warm, traditional aesthetic. The saloon typically features a convertible dinette, comfortable seating, and ample storage. Large ports and hatches provide excellent ventilation and natural light.

Depending on the model, our Tiga yachts offer 2 to 4 cabins, accommodating 4 to 8 guests comfortably. Each cabin features quality berths, hanging lockers, and storage. The heads (bathrooms) are well-appointed with hot and cold pressurized water, marine toilets, and showers.

Rigging & Sails

The sailing rig on Tiga yachts is designed for easy handling and reliable performance. Most models feature a cutter rig with a furling headsail system, allowing for quick sail changes and reef points for various weather conditions. The sails are made from quality Dacron or similar materials and are regularly maintained and replaced as needed.
